Massive crowd to demand release of General

A massive crowd took part in the rally held yesterday (8th) at Hyde Park to demand the government to release of Gen. Sarath Fonseka. The rally was organized by Democratic National Alliance (DNA) yesterday, a month since Gen. Fonseka was illegally arrested by Military Police on the 8th of February and is being arbitrarily detained at Navy Headquarters

The rally held with the leadership of Ms. Anoma Fonseka was participated by leaders of all political parties representing Democratic National Alliance.
